Fischerspooner MoMA Art Direction / Set Design / Photography Fischerspooner opened New York’s PERFORMA 09 with a 3 hour performance at the main atrium of the Museum of Modern Art. A custom designed stage positioned as a freestanding island exposed every aspect of the show, allowing guest to freely rotate around the performance. Upon entrance to the atrium, the audience was greeted by the backstage, encouraged to travel the space and discover the main stage. |
